Women – loose or dumbed down?

I switched on the television earlier to watch something over lunch to find the start of Loose Women on ITV. Now I don’t suppose I’m in the target audience for the programme, but with all the various stories around International Women’s Day, you would have thought there would be a decent story to lead on. And obviously using the best journalists available, they came up with this – Catherine Zeta Jones’ make up!

Now to be fair they weren’t the only ones to cover this great news story. And they did follow up with Jacqui Smith talking domestic violence – although I couldn’t cope with the reflection of the studio lights on Ms Smith’s newly highlighted hair.

I know, that regardless of the comments I made yesterday about my viewing habits, I’m starting to sound like a Daily Telegraph reader, but how dumbed down can our premier commercial broadcaster get?

Well, it’s a very known fact that tv is way stupid.

I myself have stopped watching tv a long time ago.

We’ve got the torrents, so why turn on the ‘stupid box’?

I’ve been reading your blog for some time now and i don’t know you but i think i know something about your personality and it amazes me that you’ve been watching the loose women tv show??

    Cheers.
